New York's Harbor School
The Wall Street Journal Online has been chronicling the progress of the Harbor School, an experimental school in New York. This school is part of the public-education reform movement that aims to replace large and troubled high schools with smaller, specially themed schools, is beginning its first year. The WSJ will follow the Harbor School's progress through periodic updates and journal entries by the school's principal, a parent and a teacher. Follow the progress of the Harbor School at:

About This Web Log Page
Welcome to the Ed Tracker weblog. Ed Tracker, launched in July, 2002, by Schackne Online, is an ezine focusing on American education. The journal is reformist and highlights current problems in the educational system.
Ed Tracker initially published monthly, scouring media throughout the United States to re-print the most provocative, thought provoking articles on the current controversies surrounding American secondary and tertiary education.
The time commitment was such that we have been recently forced to change format--Ed Tracker now links directly to education pages of major media outlets--these pages are updated 24/7.
The weblog has been created to post any news, notices, or updates that would be of interest to Ed Tracker readers. In that sense, we hope it can become a "late breaking news" adjunct to the actual ezine.
Thank you.
